Additional Information (The Fine Print)

The Southeast U.S. Korean Chamber of Commerce (“SEUSKCC”)’s 10th Annual Friendship Golf Tournament is a friendly and exciting sports event.  We invite SEUSKCC members and yet-to-be members to join us for this annual day at the wonderful RTJ – Grand National Golf Course.
There is an 80-player maximum.

Team Registration.  You may either register in a team of four, or you may register individually and be matched with a team of four.  The team of four must have a collective golf handicap that exceeds 40.  The team of four must be further broken down into two pairs of two people.  The two-person pairs may only include one golfer with a handicap less than 9.

Format.  The format of the event is a foursome callaway golf scoring system.  Groups of four golfers (each comprised of two separate pairs from two separate teams) will tee off.  Everyone in the group of four hits as if stroke play.  The callaway golf scoring system will determine team foursome score, of which all the player’s scored will be used for team score.

Mulligans can be purchased the morning of the event (Up to two per player).

Team Scoring.  The team scoring is calculated by adding team’s score based on callaway golf scoring system.  The team with the lowest score wins.

Preface description of the event:

We are proud to host the national outreach program: “The Comprehensive, Strategic U.S.-Korea Alliance”, on July 14, 2022, at the Commerce Club Atlanta – this event has a central purpose to educate, bridge, network, and create opportunities to foster a future-oriented U.S. – Korea relationship that will enhance the new comprehensive economic partnership. We anticipate 150+ key business, economic, political, and diplomatic leaders, including high rank officials in our panelist. The corporate and educational panel discussion throughout the event will highlight the importance of corporate leadership and the engagement to contribute to a new chapter in the U.S. – Korea alliance. The Global Issues Today is in need of a more strategic and comprehensive joint efforts for politicians, diplomats, the public, and our corporations to join forced in partnership more stronger than ever before. As you know President Biden’s recent visit to South Korea’s summit focused on this very same partnership with President Yoon (see joint statement from the white house). We can’t wait to start our forum to take action in a more comprehensive economic partnership – both investment and trade – between the countries.
